Tune a frequency

1. V/M into frequency mode
2. Type it without the dot: 146520
3. A repeater also needs an offset and a tone,
which is why I program them in CHIRP

Repeater settings

Output the frequency you listen on
Offset 2 m: 600 kHz 70 cm: 5 MHz, + or -
Tone CTCSS sent on transmit; in CHIRP,
         Tone mode "Tone"
Wrong offset or no tone = silent repeater

Program it with CHIRP

1. K1 cable (FTDI) in, pushed all the way home
2. Radio > Download From Radio,
   Baofeng / UV-5R Mini
3. Save that file first: it's your backup
4. File > Import my CSV (see below)
5. Check the Power column, then
   Radio > Upload To Radio
No cable yet? Wireless CPS ON, then the OLA
Radio app over Bluetooth (no airband).
